We’re the Wondering Wenatchee Wanderers
We’ve been blessed to see a lot of the U.S. and to have traveled abroad several times. This travel blog lets us share a few photos, some memories and a tip or two from our trips.
We encourage you to take time to travel, make some memories and “always enjoy the journey”.
One of the most relaxing places on earth. A sunny day watching the Pacific waves roll up to the Yaquina Head Point, with the famed lighthouse keeping watch.
This is the famous “Thunder Hole” in Acadia National Park. As the tide is coming in the resulting waves crash into this tiny inlet and produces thundering sounds. Pretty awesome to stand and watch and listen. Be careful, it will splash all the way up to the rail, so you’ll likely get wet.
The last time we were in Paris, we watched a thousand points of light dance around the Eiffel Tower. Truly spectacular.
During our last trip to Zermatt, we were treated to an Alpenhorn concert by this walk up trio. They simply walked to different corners in town and played their horns.
We stumbled upon this trio while walking through Cologne, Germany while on one of river cruise stops. Streets musicians are almost always entertaining and very good at their craft. One of my favorite songs as well. Enjoy
