We’ve cruised the Mediterranean several times and experienced warm climates, even warmer people and simply awesome food, beaches, culture and history. This is Mykonos in the Greek Isles.
Next to Mount Rainier in our home state, We don’t know if there is another mountain as breathtaking as the Matterhorn in southern Switzerland. Maybe Fuji or Kilimanjaro, but we’ve yet to see those in person, so we can’t say. We spent several days in Zermatt and loved the Bavarian charm, food, ambience and especially the scenery.
We’ve spent many days in Amsterdam over 3 separate visits. Vibrant and exciting city with more bicycles and canal boats then cars. Lots to see including the Red Light district, the lively and busy waterfront and the incredible Kuykenhoff tulip gardens. It’s easy to navigate the city with great train and bus service. Put it on your list.
Arizona is our winter playground. We spend 4-5 months here in the valley of the sun, west of Phoenix in our MotorHome. We occasionally visit surrounding areas like Sedona, which has a calming and spiritual vibe with mesmerising scenery.
Beautiful and rugged and lobster. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a more beautiful coastline then the Maine Atlantic coast. Not surprising, every coastal port has a healthy fishing contingent with lobster boats leading the charge. We got to go on a lobster charter and it was very enlightening, especially the catch and release rules.
This is our home state and it features a great deal of awesome scenery, such as Dry Falls state park. This chasm was created during the last ice age, when Lake Missoula in Montana burst through the glacial ice. The resulting river carved the basalt scablands and the mile wide waterfall, which had the force of 40 Niagara Falls, created the cliffs and drop pool seen today.
We’ve used a couple of different sitting services and nothing gives you peace of mind when you travel like knowing the house and pets are being taken care of. Ask about our preferred service.
We love cruising. It’s really our preferred way to travel. You check in, unpack once, get all your meals, have maid service, enjoy a different location every day and then you pack up and come home. We’ve tried 4 cruise lines and are happy to share our pros and cons.
Todays travelers have a myriad of choices when it comes to air travel. We’ve flown 10 different carriers and have been pretty much satisfied with each. We’re happy to share our likes and dislikes, just ask.
There’s a hundred hotel / motel apps available on every mobile platform and we’ve used our fair share of them. Most operate the same way and occasionally you’ll find a special deal but for the most part it will be personal preference. Ask about ours.
How do see what you want to see in the time you have to see it? How can you learn as much as you can about the customs and history while munching on lunch and knowing your ship leaves at 4pm. We have the answer.
We’ve taken several cruises, both here and across the pond. We’ve flown on several airlines. We’ve stayed in a 100 hotels and spent anywhere from a night or two up to 5 months in our MotorHome. If you have travel questions, let us help. We have you covered, from what to pack, currency exchange, entry customs and our preferred travel credit card.
